What a great experience! I enjoyed so much staying at Dar Fatma. Fathi and Moussa are just fantastic hosts. The place is a gem hidden in the Tunisian mountains, in a little Berber village. The room was spacious and clean. A bit cold in winter so be prepared with warm clothes. The food was just fantastic. You can take a walk with Moussa who will explain the Berber traditions.

Maison d'hôtes DAR DRISS is situated in Matmata. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Amazing location and amenities. The host woke up at 7am to make us an early breakfast and we greatly appreciated it.

The host was very responsive and extremely kind in wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.

It is 10 min away from Matmatah in the village of Tijma very peaceful and in the middle of the desert. very special place. the Man that runs it, Habib, is super friendly and nice. he took us on a nice trip to tataouine stopping on many sights. very knowledgeable. Food was delicious. highly recommended!
