Fantastic views from the treehouse or bungalows to the volcano. The treehouse is basic, but with a seperate flush toilet, a wonderful balcony with fantastic view to the volcano and three beds inside, a queen size double and a single. Both were installed with a mosquito net. Light is provided the whole day by solar energy. The shower is located within the tree under the treehouse, in the "first floor", an outdoor experience.

Rockwater Resort is an absolute diamond find! The attention to detail in everything from the guest interactions, the room, the food and the resort itself. I spent three days in this gorgeous place, not only doing the Tanna Island top sights (Mt Yasur volcano, Blue Cave, traditional village tour and the Giant Banyan tree), but simply spending time around the resort by the pool with a book or snorkelling off the front cliffs. Silvana and John are absolutely beautiful hosts with their care and attention for the experience of your own and other guests with the island and Vanuatu as a whole.

Complimentary Airport Transfers. Please advise the Resort of your flight details in advance. We stayed at White Grass for 3 nights and loved it! After our stay in the jungle/volcano it was a nice break to chill out at white grass. The restaurant food was amazing and the view is awesome. We also did a trip to the blue cave which I recommend.

The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.

Offering a restaurant, a bar and sea views, Alofa Beach Bungalows is located in Lénakel, 100 metres from the beach. All bungalows feature a balcony. Free on-site parking is provided. I LOVED staying here and didn't want to leave. Veronique and Jean-Marc are really friendly and worked hard to make my stay really enjoyable. The breakfast is included and all food was really delicious. The gardens are beautiful and the setting by the beach simply wonderful. There is free wi-fi. It was a wonderful place to relax. You can get there by bus from the airport if you don't have much luggage but the position of the bungalows is slightly wrong on google maps.
