But on this occasion I was really glad we did as there where not as many restaurants open in the area due to Covid as usual . The food was lovely with great choices every night . The service was great in the hotel and it looks out west so if you get a sea view perfect for sunsets . The public stops right across the road which we used everyday to access walks in the area . The hotel also provided beach towels for free .

Go swimming in the outdoor pool, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and with great views of Tenerife. Sun loungers surround the pool, where you can lie back and soak up the sun. This Parador is lovely - situated on the hill overlooking the ocean - view can't be beat. Breakfast was terrific and dinner is highly recommended. Staff are friendly and always trying to be helpful.

Rooms at Pensión La Gaviota come with 2 single beds and a private bathroom. They offer either sea, street or square views. Some feature a balcony. Never actually talked to or saw any staff. They were very efficient to give me the codes for the building and room prior to arrival. When we arrived to the room - the receipt for payment was on the table. There was water and a cookie on the bed. The room is very simple and small but has everything you need for a nice stay. Great location and easy free parking.

Some also include a balcony, which guests can request in advance. Additional charges may apply. It was paradise! I don't think we picked our room when we booked, but we ended up with a huge room and a massive terrace overlooking a valley. The location was nice — the hotel itself feels remote (we could see the stars well from the terrace at night), but the center of town is a 10-ish-minute walk away and there's a store for essentials as well as a handful of restaurants (we went to two, and both were great). Would recommend!

It was my mom's birthday, I pre-ordered a cake, everything worked just perfectly out and my mom cried tears of joys as it was an unexpected surprise. Breakfast is great, the pools are super, the view is exceptional! Would recommend everyone visiting La Gomera to stay at this hotel.
