The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, pillows and duvet were the best! We asked the receptionist for a recommendation , where would the local people eat, it was a fantastic recommendation, food the place everything. The breakfast was very nice, we are vegetarian and were catered for with no issues.

Karagandy has plenty of interesting sites, especially for those interested in history. On this trip, I rented a car and drove to Karkaraly National Park, which is very beautiful; I hope to go back, but I will find a guide, as there are no trail markings anywhere!

Best to go when there is no snow.
Best to go when there is no snow. Get a taxi to the Karlag/gulag museum that is just outside of town. You can also book an English tour guide for that museum to learn more. The city's central park is nice and there are many good restaurants in the city. An easy weekend trip in Kazakhstan from Astana.
The location is great and next to the Central Park and close to the center. The Hotel is almost boutique and ecclectic in style. Rooms are huge and with interesting decor. The whole atmoshere of the hotel is very different from staying in standard hotels which makes it an interesting place to stay.
The restaurant is outsourced to an independent management but for breakfast hotel guests get a discount. The food, service and decor are very pleasant.
Just perfect! Very friendly people, who were very accommodating about my arriving late, and quick to respond to any questions. The location absolutely couldn't be better. Right on the main street, but still lovely and quiet. The apartment itself is a palace, the washing machine much appreciated at this stage of my trip. Karaganda is a great city and, should I return, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Wonderful! Thank you :)
I did not expect much from the hotel given the price. It is just a place you can stay at if you have very limited finances. The stay was absolutely safe, the staff is helpful, and I mean it - the administrator was happy to help me when my cards failed to work and I needed to bu tickets, so she offered to use her card!
It's dirt cheap and worth every penny
In general the level of this hotel for Karaganda is really great. It has super nice and comfortable rooms, 24/7 restaurant downstairs and another one on the second floor open till 02:00 and I always stay here when coming to the city. Breakfast is a la carte and nice. But this time the drawback was really serious for me, thus I can't rate it higher.
Location of the hotel - near to the park. Good facilities. Amazing restaurant next to the hotel named ZUMA (horse meat is great). Good cleanliness. Another nice restaurant near to lobby (Solianka is amazing). Bar has good cappuccino coffee and cold beer (loco and German). It's well know hotel so everybody (taxi drivers) know where it's located.
clean rooms, sheets, and overall hotel facilities. Very accommodating staff. Nice breakfast. Location was OK - a bit far from the center, but that made it super quiet. even though hotel is being positioned as Halal, the Muslim symbolism and practices were very unassuming and tasteful.
The hotel is in a great location. Their reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole ambiance of the hotel is lovely (Art Deco themed). Our bedrooms (we had 3 different ones) were very clean and roomy. We hope we can stay there again!
This is a good reliable hotel to stay in (I say reliable, because two other places in Karaganda confirmed my booking only to say when I arrived that the property was already taken).
I would return here the next time I come to Karaganda.
I stayed in this hotel just for one night and booked it just to have some place to sleep. But anyways the hotel was good, staff was friendly and general impression was great.
Reception staff were very helpful and made every effort to accommodate a late checkout.
Hotel was very well appointed. Rooms were nice. Restaurant areas and food were good.
There was an excellent breakfast. The hotel next to a large park with a lake, great for walking. Shops are close, there was a good supermarket within 5 minutes walk.
Quite a high-quality hotel, worth the money, the overall impression is good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was quite good and varied in content.
