Towels and bed linen are available in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Wonderful accommodation. Exceptional. Facilities amazing. Bedrooms extremely comfortable Kitchen & Bathrooms very good Hot tub and Barbecue great additions to the house Helga was very helpful and welcoming. A brilliant overnight stay had by all.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Great location, perfect hosts. We had a flat tire when we got to the property and the host went out of his way to help us fix it. Way beyond any expectations!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! This place is highly recommended in all aspects. I will be staying here again.

Set in Hella and only 22 km from Thjofafoss, Afternoon Cottages offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden views. The accommodation features private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. We had a lovely stay here. Although remote, it was conveniently located for Landmannalaugar, Hella and the surrounding area. You need a 4x4 to access via gravel roads, but then that is what makes the place so special (gravel roads were well maintained when compared to the highlands - photo in review). Photos do not accurately represent the cottages... They are much nicer in person!

Convenient location - close to the “abandoned Viking village” film set, black sand beach, picturesque mountains, and the coast with a lighthouse and seals. When you stay here, they provide you with a QR code to enter these places for free. Clean room that was pretty big compared to others during our trip. Good breakfast. Small gift shop area in the cafe. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay at The Blackhouse. Self check-in allowed us to arrive later than usual and have a seamless experience. Like others have mentioned, the lack of a stove with pots and pans was a bummer, but the estate more than made up for it with the luxurious space and cleanliness afforded to us from the get go. Would definitely come to stay again :)

The rooms are standalone villas of a sort with all the basic amenities. The location was excellent, just at the base of Eyjafallajokul, visible from the bedroom window. All rooms have a living area with great views of the field and the ring road, an inner cosy bedroom, an attached washroom, basic cooking utensils and appliances. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were required to contact the host via WhatsApp to receive a code. This code was to be used to open a key box that had the room keys.

The beachfront hotel was clean and everything was very nice. The sea view through the window was so wonderful, and it's less than 10-minutes drive to vik village, so you can buy somthing and eat in the hotel if you need it. I highly recommend it and would like to come back.

Loved the location and the charm of the villas. It was clean and gad what we needed. We only spent one night, but would come back again and spend more time. We got to see the northern lights - not the best version of them, but at least we did see them.
