This hotel is situated near downtown Thunder Bay, just a 4-minute drive from Thunder Bay International Airport. It features two on-site restaurants, a lounge, and a modern fitness center. The recent renovations to the Valhalla hotel definitely exceeded my expectations as the room interior was similar to 5-star hotels that I’ve stayed in before. I was so pleasantly surprised and really impressed by it. I also really liked the restaurant/bar, it was excellent! Airport shuttle service was excellent, punctual and very useful if you’re traveling by plane. Really enjoyed my stay!

The room was lovely, the toiletries were very nice. Breakfast was hot, delicious with many choices. The breakfast attendant was gracious and accommodating. We plan to stay again on our return trip.

The room was a good size,and very clean.The beds were comfortable,and quiet.The staff were friendly and kind.I was quite impressed.The breakfast was good and the coffee OK.Next time we go to Thunder Bay this will be our hotel.Thank You.

Not much can be said - Best Western has their corporate standards, and the hotels are very much alike, so you pretty well know what you get. They are not fancy, but the basics are there.
