We were really looked after by the hosts who had to stay up after midnight to let us in (after a delayed flight). They left some lovely food for us and were very friendly. I liked everything about this cute, exceptionally refurbished, traditional house. The building is just amazing, and so are the rooms and the luxurious bathrooms. The staff is amazing, friendly and very accommodating. There are no restaurants available for dinner in the area, therefore the owner offered to make a (delicious!) salad for me. Amazing breakfast in the cute coffee shop attached. Highly recommend!

Lovely place on the camino route. It is a contactless check in. We were given codes to the main door entrance and a seperate code for the room. Owner happened to be there when we checked. He informed us there will be no dinner as the kitchen is closed at 3pm. However we can get food at another hotel across the road. We were able to have breakfast at 7am next morning when the owner opens the cafe. Room is cosy, spacious bathroom, powerful hot showers.

All rooms at Hotel Amenal include free Wi-Fi access. It is located just 5 km from Santiago de Compostela Airport, on the French Route of the St. James’s Way. I requested a 4:00am shuttle to airport which was free, the host was very accommodating, & went to great lengths to alleviate my fear of missing my flight. The driver turned up, on time 4am. Pleasant drive to airport on time.

Jessica who checked us in and waited on us for dinner was the absolute best. My bag which I had transported did not arrive. I attempted several times by both phone and messages to contact the transport driver. He declined my calls. Jessica helped by calling the company-spent over 30 minutes on the phone to locate my bag. I believe if she had not taken the effort I would not have been reunited with my bag. Big Thanks Jessica. You are the best
