Best place to staying in Bahir Dar Yiganda Hotel, The room is clean and very large. The staff where speaks very good English. Solomon from the hotel organized us good trip to the monasteries, Gonder and 3 days Simien mountains. We highly recommended and will stay nest time.

I came from Mumbai to Addis Ababa, then took a bus from Addis to Bahir Dar. This hostel was a gem with the value you pay. I asked them to buy the return bus ticket, pick up to the bus station in the early morning and they happily did. The best part was they helped me get an excellent tour package of the Lake Tana and the Blue Niles Waterfall, with very good price for one day, as I was tight with my schedule. The tour went very well with excellent and safe vehicles (car and boat), great guides, and all important places. The room I got has a queen size bed, shower and toilet attached, with good privacy and cleanliness. I stayed two nights and will do it again when I have a chance.Please support this property as well as the Bahir Dar. They are waiting and very happy to serve you to the best of their abilities.

All rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower.... Breakfast was delicious, comfortable room with hot water and wifi. Negiste is a great conversationalist and attentive to all my needs during the visit.
