Apartments Chez Milady is an eco-oriented property located in Utila Island, 4 minutes’ drive from Chepes Beach. It features an extensive garden, barbecue facilities and free parking. Milady is the most wonderful host with the most wonderful home! She offers more than just a place to stay, wants to help you have the best stay possible in a natural way: gave us a lovely tour of the city on her ATV (for free), and she offered us rides whenever we were heading in the same direction at the same time, loaned us her own snorkeling gear during our stay when we said we were thinking about renting some, helped us out when we had to seek medical attention (non emergency!), and guided us to the best local restaurants as well as the scuba diving center with which be ended up being very satisfied. She even let us use the kitchen of another at that time inhabited room (ours didn’t have a kitchen) when we were ill at no extra cost, because she genuinely wanted us to feel more comfortable in that situation. On top of her incredible generosity her place had a nice setting in nature with a very “untouched” feel (“live and let live” was her Moto) - so we spent a LOT of ours just relaxing in her garden! Nice to see hummingbirds in the garden and once a sleeping bird on a branch during the night. She also has 2 nice dogs. Even though it had a “nature feel” it was only 10 min walk to the center. Would strongly recommend.

Location is good and great for meeting with people staying at Mango Inn. The toilets and showers were fine, always clean. Very handy to have a kitchen with fridge. There's a plug, shelf and light for each bed and the mattresses were very confortable. Also nice sturdy beds.

It was a beautiful setting ! The way it's nested within the trees Convenient eatery inside, a good size pool to cool down in.

The on-site restaurant dishes out a mix of local and international flavors, which was a great plus after a day out at sea or exploring the island The dorm rooms are exactly what you'd expect for the price point - basic but functional. They could benefit from a little more attention to cleanliness, but if you're a seasoned backpacker, it's nothing you haven't seen before. If you're looking for a touch more luxury (and privacy), they recently built private suites which are worth every penny for the upgrade. In short, if you're a traveler looking for an affordable stay with the added bonus of diving in the Caribbean, Paradise Divers should be on your list. It's not the Ritz, but the energy and staff make this place incredible.
