We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. הגסטהאוס הכי טוב שישנתי בו בטיול שלי! לגמרי ברמה של מלון, חדרים מושלמים! אטומים לרעש אפילו לא שומעים שאתה ישן קרוב לכביש הראשי, המקלחת הכי מפנקת שיש ובכללי המקלחת והחדר היו ענקיים. צוות המלון היה מצויין, סבלני ואדיב, ענה על כל שאלה שהייתה ואפילו הכווין אותנו איפה הכי טוב לראות את האורורה ביחס למלון. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה עשירה מאוד ומגוונת.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. EVERYTHING IS VERY GOOD…. THE BEST STAY EVER!!!!

The property itself is immaculate—everything feels brand new and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail in both the common areas and the guest rooms is impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the standout moments of my visit was the host's extraordinary kindness. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and without hesitation, she sent it to me at no charge. This level of service and care is truly rare and greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a cozy, clean, and welcoming place to stay with a host who goes above and beyond, look no further. This bed and breakfast is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!
