Nestled in the middle of nature in Hachijojima Island, Kencha Rumah offers pet-friendly accommodation. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Me and my wife absolutely loved staying here on Hachijo for three nights, fantastic location near nice restaurants, we also rented a car while there from Kencha Rumah for a very reasonable price as well. All in all a nice stay on a beautiful island.

Located a 5-minute drive west of Hachijojima Airport, Hachijo View Hotel houses a seasonal outdoor pool and a public bath. The hotel provides free WiFi in all areas and on-site parking. The staff was very friendly and dedicated. The reception especially was very helpful by assisting booking restaurants, taxis, etc. The hotel has a good location and the food (breakfast) was also very nice.

The mattress was the most comfortable we experienced in Japan and they even had options for tatami mats if you would rather. While the bathrooms are shared, they are meticulously cleaned daily making it no big deal. There are 2 showers for 7 rooms and 3 toilets. We never had an issue with this as the ratio was more than alright. The owner was extremely kind and wore a phone on a necklace that had Google translate open at all times. She was the best! The location was also completely great.
