The location was good with a free car park and quiet surrounding area. We travelled by car so it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. The room was clean with a hammock to relax. There was a coin-operated washing machine in common area with detergent. The kitchen was very good. The owner was so kind and gave my children small lovely chocolate chunks. We enjoyed our 3-night stay so much.

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

The staff made a real effort to cook us a fantastic Japanese meal and to explain to us how to eat it. The room we stayed in was an authentic Japanese room with no beds (only futons to be rolled out on the floor). I loved having this experience and would recommend for any western travellers looking to have a unique experience.

Guests at Fukashiso can enjoy relaxing in the spacious public/private baths and request for massage services. Our stay at Fukashiso was beyond our expactations. The staff is so helpful and lovely. Also, the food is amazing! If you can, we recommend staying 2 nights. They serve you different dishes on the second dinner and it is delicious!
