The location was good with a free car park and quiet surrounding area. We travelled by car so it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. The room was clean with a hammock to relax. There was a coin-operated washing machine in common area with detergent. The kitchen was very good. The owner was so kind and gave my children small lovely chocolate chunks. We enjoyed our 3-night stay so much.

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again if in Shiojiri. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. It is in an excellent location, close to the train station.

Guests at Fukashiso can enjoy relaxing in the spacious public/private baths and request for massage services. We came for our honeymoon & we had the best time at Fukashisho. I wish we had another night there. The hospitality was 10/10. My favorite place from all the hotels & ryokans in Japan.
