Het METRO Sq is gunstig gelegen op de internationale luchthaven Chubu Centrair en biedt capsulekamers met airconditioning. Het hotel biedt een 24-uursreceptie en gratis WiFi in de openbare ruimtes. Het was onze eerste keer in een capsule hotel. Het personeel sprak goed Engels en legde ons alles rustig uit. De capsule was schoon en ruim. Ook vonden wij het heerlijk om ‘s ochtends niet meer naar het vliegveld te hoeven afreizen.

Centrair Hotel biedt directe toegang tot de internationale luchthaven van Chubu Centrair en biedt eenvoudige kamers in Western-stijl, met WiFi. The location is perfect if you have an early flight and a lot of luggage. I stayed in their Standard Double Room for a 10 am flight and had five big luggage. The room itself was big enough to fit them all with a modern layout and furniture. It is close to the departure area as well as the train station and they provide luggage trolley near the lift so you can just put all your luggages coming out from your room. I did some last-minute shopping using the free shuttle bus to the AEON mall which is another plus thing to consider. Definitely our go-to hotel if we need to fly out from Nagoya airport.

Room size, Facilitis and the location, we didn't expect if there's very big shopping mall next to the hotel for just 2 minutes walk. The hotel location also next to the sea whcih I can be do my exercise every morning. A lot of space of Car park area which I can easily access and park. The hotel also close to Toyota Rent a Car where I can get and return my rental car easily. Everything here perfect and fit for the guests who get the car for only 30 miniutes drive to Nagoya city.

De Tokoname Pottery wandelroute die start vanaf het station laat de historie van het Japanse pottenbakken zien met daarnaast een route van allerlei winkeltjes die lokaal gemaakt serviesgoed, theepotjes, bonsaischalen en de bekende Japanse kat verkopen. Verrassend veelzijdige route en erg interessant, leuk om de makers te ontmoeten. Nadeel is de reistijd naar Tokoname, alleen bereikbaar met gewone treinen vanaf oa Nagoya.
