Quiet but in the middle of restaurants and cafes. Situated in front of the night market, ATMs , Korean food, even a Thai coffee shop . Chato is your best option . Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .

The staff go above and beyond to help you. Free tea and bananas is such a lovely touch. We were able to leave our big bags whilst we did the Bolvean Loop, they gave us a number to text telling us to let them know the day before we were coming back so that they could save us a bed. The rooms are lovely and clean, beds are very big singles and air con is a dream. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of really sweet moments especially from the extremely lovely host who was really generous giving us left over cake and sweets to try. Honestly couldn't recommend more. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if ever in Pakse again.

Budget friendly, in a side street close to the river and restaurants. The owner rents out motorbikes and is a knowledgeable source of information for things to see in the area, including the Bolaven trail. I had an amazing two nights here, thanks Xavier and family!

Athena Hotel provides comfortable rooms and an outdoor pool, a 10-minute walk from the centre of Pakse. It also has free Wi-Fi, which is available throughout the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff very friendly. I really enjoyed being able to come back each day and have a swim. I ate in the hotel most nights the meals on offer were fine as was the breakfast. It was easy enough to organise airport pick up and tours through the hotel.
