Our vacation started at once we landed in Male. Representatives of Stay Mikado helped us with all the logistics, since we had to stay overnight in a local hotel for an early next morning speedboat trip to Thimarafushi island. When we got to Stay Mikado, Ameen and his staff took very good care of us for the whole duration of our stay. Ameen and his staff are amazing in hospitality and care for every need. The hotel is situated at a local island and we had a nice and clean double room with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. The food was very tasty and we ate with good appetite. The hotel also has a small gym, SPA room, and on the rooftop there is a large terrace if you want to relax and also with a nice view of the island, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Hotel WiFi is good. Across from the hotel there is a leisure area where you can play table tennis, billiards and some other games. There are free bikes for the guests to use. Stay Mikado has a tourist beach just a few minutes away. We visited it a lot and had long baths in the warm water. Everyday from the hotel you can go by boat on different excursions to nearby islands - snorkeling, diving, fishing and surfing. Prices for the trips ar very reasonable too. The hotel owns a private island that is a must see and is really worth a day trip, including bbq and beautiful beaches, stand up paddle boards, glass bottom kayak etc. Ameen and his staff at Stay Mikado will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your stay in Thimarafushi. We had a really nice vacation and would like to recommend this hotel to people who wants to see the real Maldives.

Six Senses Laamu is a luxury resort surrounded by clear turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Its villas come with a 37-inch flat-screen TV and Bose entertainment system. Rooms offer free WiFi. Excellent hotel for families with children. A large area overgrown with jungle, the villas on the beach where we stayed are located at a great distance from each other, providing privacy. Delicious and varied food, large and well-made common areas of the hotel (restaurants, shops, diving center etc, I would like to separately mention the "ice-cream bar" with a huge selection of their own delicious ice cream) a stunningly beautiful reef for diving and snorkeling. Very attentive friendly and polite staff - I would especially like to highlight and thank our butler Ainur - who made our stay very rich, interesting and carefree.

Rindali Maldives Maaenboodhoo has a restaurant, shared lounge, a garden and private beach area. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We spent in the Rindali hotel 8 amazing days. We had a very nice welcome upon our arrival. Room looks amazing - it was big, clean and had full equipment to use. We had there a delicious breakfasts and dinners on the terrace with a beautiful view. The beach is around 6-7 min way by foot so really close. It is a private beach so I could wear bikini without any problem. We had a beach tent so we could relax without be afraid of burn our skin and kayak for our disposal as well. Water was just perfect, so warm, clean with a lot of beautiful fish and amazing corals. If you are looking for place to relax and clear your mind this is just a place: there is only 1 guesthouse on the island so there is no possibility to meet crowd of tourist there. But we have to mentioned about a great people who works in this hotel. First we talked on booking.com and met on Male Shameem - angel person - he helped us so much! He gave us all information and take care of us when we have a problem with a speed boat. On the island we met Asim and Raaif. They are also super nice and caring and they make our stay just wonderful. You can also expect a very nice surprises from them :D So guys - once again big big thank you! The hotel is perfect, very well located, the rooms are large and spacious, the room was very clean, the beds very comfortable. The hotel has everything you may need during your stay, it has a cafe-restaurant attached. All the employees are very kind, friendly, polite, they help you with everything you need. The wifi works perfect. The food's restaurant is good, the fresh juices are great. The activities offered by the hotel are amazing, I especially recommend the Laguna cruise and Dolphin cruise. The island of Kudahuvadhoo is beautiful, safe, has local grocery stores, clothing stores and a bookstore, it also has a supermarket where you can find anything you may need. The island has two spectacular beaches (both a 5-minute walk from the hotel), on these beaches you cannot wear bikini, but it is not inconvenient because the hotel offers you the excursion going to a sandbank or island where you can wear bikini. .It is wonderful to walk and enjoy these beaches.
