Unfortunately Dina was away so we didn't meet her but Rob was a great host and we would definitely stay there again

The location of this homestay is the best part about it. It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).

Brenda and James are very kind and helpful. They make the difference. Nice homestay, simple, feels like home. We used the kitchen and enjoyed the breakfast (10 myr). We appreciated that they made vegan breakfast for us. Brenda is a tour guide. We enjoyed her Deer cave tour. It was very interesting. A must to see and do with her.

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. Loved it! Stunning stay at the Marriott in mulu. The location is absolutely wonderful,once in a life time stay.
