Location was fab. The beds were SO COMFY. Tina and Shane were incredible and the best hosts. We had vehicle trouble and they went above and beyond to alleviate our anxieties and make us comfortable. Welcome to Horse Shoe Manor, your ideal North Island retreat! Nestled conveniently at Highway 1’s junction, we’re just 20 minutes from Paihia, making us an excellent base for your explorations. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

We arrived late due to a problem we had and they waited for us to check in, the location was wonderful. We rested and had a wonderful time staying there. The staff was always very concerned about making us feel comfortable.
