Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with little extra touches to make our stay enjoyable. Sandra and Doug were very friendly and helpful, the unit was spacious, the breakfast supplied was an added bonus, and we were able to take our dog, who was very safe in a secure yard. Their visitor's book was full of positive comments from previous guests, most of whom indicated they would definitely be returning, as will we.

Green Door - One bedroom apartment is located in Whakatane, within 8.4 km of Ohope Beach and 8.7 km of Poroporo. It offers free WiFi and a garden. We enjoyed the location. The cleanliness of the place and the spaciousness of the apartment. Highly recommend staying here. Just a little note for others that there is no microwave but it does have a full oven and stove and there was no iron that I could see.

Tourist Court Motel offers refurbished studios and apartments, each with cooking facilities and 50+ satellite channels. There is a shaded outdoor area with BBQ, plus a spa pool. Incredibly central, very friendly lady on the desk who pointed me to the Sunday craft market which was a lot of fun. Older building but very very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay with the dogs.
