The place is as majestic as it looks in pictures. We reserved the room with a private pool. From the decoration to the comfort, it exceeded expectations. You want to relax and go for a walk, a ride in a bike, see the animals on the farm, swim in the pool, enjoy the indoor spa (heated pool, sauna, sunroom, showers), or just pet the friendly dog... this is the place. If I could give it a 20/20 for cleanness, I would. This place is spotless clean!!!☆☆☆☆☆. The homemade food is amazing. You get the whole package. Loved it and great for families!!! Secluded and amazing.

A Casa dos Girassóis er staðsett á Kúbu, 20 km frá Castelo de Beja og 20 km frá Carmo-kirkjunni. Boðið er upp á tennisvöll og útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. The owners (father and son) are extremely welcoming. As we were there on Feb 14th, a lovely surprise was waiting for us : a path to the bed spread with roses petals, the kitchen table decorated also with petals, a bottle of bubbly special St Valentine, a mug with heart, and lovely little trinkets. It warmed up our hearts, and we needed that as it was a day particularly cold. We are not used to rent places, but for a start, it was fantastic. The 4 of us were enchanted.

Cuba Real er staðsett á Kúbu, 49 km frá Alqueva-stíflunni og 20 km frá Castelo de Beja. Boðið er upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og aðgangi að garði. It was in a 200-year old upper-class house, where the Duke of Beja used to recide when in Cuba. A very nice couple had restored the house to modern needs, but kept some of the old furniture to keep the link to history. Fantastic!

The apartment was beautifully furnished and it was easy to access. It is of good size for a couple, but too small for 3 people. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. they are very nice.

Holiday Inn Beja, an IHG Hotel býður upp á herbergi í Beja, í innan við 8,3 km fjarlægð frá Represa og 9,3 km frá São Matias. Baleizão er 17 km frá hótelinu.

Villa Caballero er með útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn og býður upp á gistirými með verönd og kaffivél, í um 22 km fjarlægð frá Represa. The communication with Iris was excellent before, throughout and after our stay. The property was immaculately cleaned, including the pool. Everything we could have needed at the property was there. The whole stay at the property was stress free and comfortable. We went as two coulples. The men went fishing each day at Barragem de Odivelas so us ladies entertained ourselves. There isn't much in Alfundao village, but there are small shops for essentials and pastry shops. We drove to nearby villages Beja and Alvito and had lunch and shopped in bigger supermarkets. There is a great bar with a restaurant at Barragem de Odivelas which we enjoyed. We also travelled from Alfundao to Evora for souvenirs and lunch and caught a train from Beja to Lisbon for a day trip. Overall Alfundao is a great location to access other areas and the property was great value for money.
