Situated by the E4 highway, this hotel is 1 km from central Umeå. It offers free parking, free gym access and all rooms have free Wi-Fi internet. Umeå Teg Airport is a 7-minute drive away. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was even better. A-lot of good facilities as well!

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Tiny room as advertised... a jail cell! Very clean and small but comfy bed. Shared facilities down the hall also very clean and in top condition. Staff is helpful and genuinely friendly. Good value. Location is quiet, a few minutes walking from downtown.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. All was good. Reception staff were very helpful, dinner and breakfast was included. Dinner was buffet and from hot meat was only chicken but that was enough. There were potatoes and a lot of different cuts and salads and little things. Drinks had to be purchased separately. We enjoyed everything. Nothing to fault. The bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was phenomenal! The staff was very accommodating, working with us to offer the best experience possible. They had a sauna that opened at 3pm, but if we wanted to use it a bit earlier, they offered to start it up a bit earlier. The location was perfect, right close to downtown, but also not right in the thick of it. Highly recommend!

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. The rooms were nice with those big windows facing the river! The breakfast was totally amazing with great variety of local and healthy food. The receptionist was very nice and friendly.

This was the perfect hotel for us, and it's very luxurious for decent price! Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was 10/10 and there was enough gluten free options.
