Situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park, Elephant Plains Game Lodge features an outdoor pool, a spa, and luxury accommodations. Everything at Elephant Plains was amazing. The room was very cozy and very clean, the food was great and the game drives were outstanding. Our guide Nick went above and beyond to get us close to the animals. I 100% recommend this place to everyone!

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. A continental or buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. An amazing property of 10 tents so it feels wonderfully intimate and this means the game drives don’t feel crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly, food exceptional and the rooms sensitively decorated, comfortable with hot showers. The pool is perfect to relax between game drives. The site has been planted out with succulents making the garden areas unique but really beautiful and less dependent on water than other species. Leopard and hyena routinely pass through the property. At night you can hear lion not far off and in the day all manner of bird life make for a beautiful sound. it’s very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the view and taking it all in. We were made to feel right at home and had a fantastic 2 night stay.

Simbambili Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This romantic hideaway offers a Moroccan-style experience, privately tucked away in the sweeping savanna grassland. This lodge is absolutely stunning! Every amenity, the food, the staff, the environment…all simply perfect. I could not have asked for more. You cannot go wrong with Simbambili. And the massage was definitely one of the best I have ever had.

Offering an outdoor pool, Nkorho Bush Lodge is set in Sabi Sand Game Reserve overlooking the African plain. The lodge has stylishly thatched chalets and a traditional Boma. This lodge has the nicest vibe of all the lodges I've stayed in in the Sabi Sands / Timbivati / Kruger. The staff are so friendly and make a really special attempt to keep everyone engaged. We really appreciated that. It was also very good value for money with good rooms, airconditioning, and good homely food.

Located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve home of the ‘Big Five’, Inyati Game Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Inyati is situated on the scenic banks of the Sand River. Truly, the best lodge we have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, the room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kindest, most helpful and professional employees i have ever met. Every single one of them had a smile on their faces from the moment we walked in till the moment we left. The chef who cooked amazing meals, Mr. Goodman who made sure we were comfortable while in the lounge area, the receptionist who welcomed us when we arrived. And two of the most amazing people who accompanied us on our game drives. Mr. Omega, our ranger and Mr. Joel, the tracker. I would like to deeply thank them for their patience, their knowledge and their beautiful spirits. Everyone was super friendly . It was our first time going on a safari trip and i'm super glad we chose Inyati Game Lodge. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Cannot recommend this lodge enough!!

Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

Take in the African plains at Lion Sands Private Game Reserve at the heat of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Ranger Syd and Tracker Tony did a very good job, many thanks. The Service could be a little more attentive, but however, the service was very friendly. We feel very welcome and plan to return.

Featuring garden views, Mzsingitana Tented Camp in Hoedspruit features accommodation, a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. Very well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!
