Abera's Villas is an absolutely delightful place to stay. After a warm welcome at the airport Jael was an exemplary host; recommending and booking activities/experiences for us and providing a unique insight about island culture. The two very private beachfront villas share a pool and (after exploring the island) have the best location on Aitutaki; close to a variety of dining places. There is easy access to the clear waters of the lagoon, with fantastic swimming and snorkelling right off the beach. Kayaks, snorkelling gear, stand up paddle boards and wheels to get around the island are all provided at no extra cost. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay which has also been built to environmental standards you will not be disappointed. We booked the breakfast, which as described in previous posts, is extremely generous. Thank you also to Kathy and Moana for their wonderful housekeeping and warm hospitality.

The serenity that this property offered was surreal. The bungalow was well-equipped with ample amount of kitchen cutleries, china, and bathroom towels. Every detail for this stay to be exceptionally wonderful was thought of- from having a bin in the toilet to having a dining table inside and outside to loungers in the balcony to my favourite spot where hammocks are installed and many more that you least anticipate of. We could only wish to have the same property and facilities when we moved to Rarotonga. We missed our Aitutaki bungalow so much. Vicky was a wonderful host, making our stay so homey. Trina was excellently responsive during our pre-arrival stage. All in all, this place makes us want to go back to Aitutaki despite its wild west vibe. This is so highly recommended.

Everything was above and beyond. The outdoor showers were awesome. Great snorkeling out front. Close to a couple places to eat . Can rent Escooters onsite which was awesome. We stayed 3 nights , then 2 nights in One Foot Island and now 2 nights elsewhere on island....I wish we had returned to Etu Moana

Ned’s and Greta’s place is great, especially for solo travelers. Very easy to meet other travelers here. The location is very cool as it is situated more with the locals rather than all the resorts. Super easy to get to the beach from here. There is a great place to get coffee with coconut cream each morning and hang with the locals nearby! If you love cats, the store next door often has the cutest, friendliest white and black cat sitting out front who will welcome lots of love from you. I didn’t take Ned up on the offer, as I do like walking everywhere, but if available you can rent a bike or motorbike from him for a reasonable price. Airport pickup and drop off is included, which is very helpful. Great hospitality! I definitely recommend you stay here.

Vaea was so amazing! First she greeted me at the airport with the most beautiful pink ei (not knowing that pink is my color). I tried to save it for so many days. She then drove me around in the pouring rain to multiple stores around the island to make sure that I had everything I needed for my 3 night stay there. She was an amazing host who really went out of her way! The bungalow was new and very clean. Nice view!
