I loved my stay at Casa Mita. The place is a bit up the hill, so away from all the noise and very peaceful and quiet. There is a rooftop with chairs and hammocks with a lovely view over Taganga. I always loved eating my breakfast, which the owner makes himself every morning and is very tasty, up there. I had booked the biggest room and it was so spacious that it almost felt like a little apartment. The bed is incredibly comfortable. There is also a kitchen you can use to cook for yourself that has all the basic kitchenware you need. The owner himself is a lovely guy who truly goes out of his way to take care of his guests and is always ready to lend a helping hand. I can definitely recommend staying at Casa Mita when you are in Taganga.

Yacki is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed - kitchen is very well equiped, has all the utilities, crockery and fridge. The bed was comfortable, and the location is very good - about 7 mins by walk from the centre. The last bit of walk is uphill, but it’s just a very short distance that is challenging, around 200 metres. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and in addition there is a bunch of very fridndly pets (cats and dogs) which are just impossible not to pet🤗 Yacki gave us water for cooking on first day which was very nice of her and kept us well informed about electricity shutdowns and water cuts. It’s not our first time in the area, and we understand that it is normal in Santa Marta region. Yacki also made sure we had everything we needed every day and offered cleaning. This place was perfect for us

When I walked into this place, It felt like all of the times in life when you meet someone special. You are told they are special, you believe they are, but you really have to shake their hand, or in this comparison, you have to enter the gate of the motel. Entering the gate with the salt water blowing through the leaves of the court yard trees, the chill vibe... It feels like home, literally under 30 seconds walk from the hussle and bussle of the main water front of tanganga, you find a hidden walled oasis. The bed is perfect, not to hard, not to soft, the kitchen with stove top as what changed our mind from any airbnb in tanganga. I could write more, but think of everything a motel is and does, and this motel does everything with no error. Some motels have, that motel feel. This "motel" feels like you have arrived, home. Everything is ideal, I have been in many motels in my travels in colombia, including a 300 dollar a night suite on honeymoon. I'm kicking myself that my wife and I didn't stay here, in tanganga, at this motel. The only regret I had from booking a stay at this motel was the tremendous regret of not doing so sooner. It is a gem hidden in paradise. Welcome to the best accommodation in tanganga. It's quite the same as meeting "that person" , you can try to explain their qualities, but like this "one in a million motel", words don't do justice. We will be back

To anyone wishing to book a bed and breakfast that feels like home, then definitively book La Casa Nordica! Incredible home cooked breakfasts with the possibility to also have dinner there (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, best food we had in Colombia), the hosts are extremely welcoming and made us feel like home. It has a family feel to it and do not hesitate to share with Patricia and her family, wether it be music or stories, they will also have many to share! A truly great stay, do not let the neighborhood disuade you!
