Staff was amazing - room was very clean and the shower was hot. They provide free transport across on their private boat even at midnight. Gasser was very friendly. Breakfast was good and they provide a lot of food.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were so happy to meet the Nubian people through Ahmed and his family. They are extremely kind, sweet, helpful, honest and we would love to come back just to get to know them more. They were always super attentive and careful. Incredible atmospheric design of the property in the heart of nubian village! Very clean and cozy, best bed i had in Egypt. Breakfast was very good, especially falafel)) the place is quiet and situated on the bank of Nile, you can swim. And you can take the boat directly to city center Aswan.

Everything was perfect - staying at Kafana's might be the best choice we made on our trip so far! Kafana is so helpful and communicative, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and hot, the bed was super comfortable, and the view can't be beat. Kafana helped us get some laundry done quickly, change up some money, and arrange transportation to make our short stay in Aswan as easy as possible. They also made us a fantastic breakfast. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you, Kafana!
