Location is perfect... a lovely walk into historic St Malo. Close to all needed amenities. Elizabeth was a gem, very personable, knowledgeable and she provided top notch breakfasts. Room was in adjacent annex, very quiet, well appointed and very safe and secure. Place was very clean and well maintained. The experience ensures that we will be back.

We were truly delighted with our stay. The accommodation is nestled right in the heart of the old city, offering a genuine glimpse into its rich history. Despite the building's impressive age of 400 years, the room amenities are refreshingly modern. Please note, there isn't an elevator, so those staying on higher floors will need to navigate the historic stairs. This might be a consideration for those who find steep stairs challenging. However, for those who can, it's a truly unique experience. The owner was wonderfully attentive, preparing our breakfast to our preferences. While the breakfast was simple, it was delicious. Given the challenges of securing a taxi in St. Malo, we're especially grateful for the owner's assistance in arranging one for our departure.

We had a wonderful time in Saint Malo. The city is beautiful, full of history. We departed the town wishing to stay for a longer period. However, I believe that the apartament where we stayed in and the kindness of the owners made all the difference for this fantastic experience we had in Saint Malo. The owners of the apartment gave us the best tips on where to go, what restaurants to try, where to shop. We reached them several times and got quick answers. The place we stayed in was neatly decorated, super clean, and well equipped. I mean it, very well equipped. I loved the clean towels and sheets. Appliances are new or really well maintained and easy to operate. There is plenty of everything among kitchen utensils and stuff. Just one day before leaving I found a tea pot and a tea filter. Everything is of very good quality. The apartment is close to grocery stores, a fancy bakery, organic grocery store (you cannot miss that) and not too far from local beaches. Despite all that, it is located in a calm and silent area. Towards the end of the day I loved to open the windows and listen to the birds chirping. Ah, and parking. There is free parking just a few steps away from the apartament. The best!

Gildas responded promptly to questions before and during our stay, and it’s clear based on the preparation of the flat (well-equipped with clean kitchen equipment, basic spices, olive oil, etc.) that the intent is for a welcoming and comfortable stay. Thanks, Gildas for your genuine hospitality! Saint Malo is special and we would look forward to staying at Le Pilo again.

My husband and I had a very nice stay at Emeraude, pleine vie de mer. The apartment was very clean, modern and was well equipped. There was parking included in the gated courtyard. We sat on the balcony with a wonderful view of the sea and enjoyed a glass of cider. It’s a 15 minute walk along the sea to St Malo. There are many wonderful restaurants located near the apartment and a small grocery store (superette proxisuper).
