It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. Absolutely best quest house we have stayed in. The host's go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and even did our washing. The cooked breakfast was amazing and the cheese scones to die for. Our room was clean, quiet and had a nice view. Great location and easy to bus into the city.

The host was absolutely lovely and very accommodating, being at the property when we arrived to show us around. The property was xlean and well laid out. Very suitable for our stay whilst attending a concert in Edinburgh Town centre.

Beautiful quiet property, very clean and comfortable, ample space for our kids (ages 3 & 11) to play - lovely garden with toys provided, great location to the beach and also accessible to the main city sites.
