I could not imagine for a better accommodation for my solo trip to Saint Lucia. Valery was very communicative, flexible with my departure date, and found solutions as my impulsive trip evolved. The suite was spotless and spacious (including the bathroom!), and there are thoughtful elements to add some comfort and flair, including USB chargers and universal adaptors. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare simple meals, and you can easily stock up on provisions at the big Massy Supermarket down the street or at the market in town, both 5-10 minutes away by foot. Air conditioning, hot water, and water pressure worked incredibly well and were very appreciated after long days of adventuring and during lazy rainy days. Guavas and fresh herbs are in the garden for guests to pick for munching, meals, or a cup of tea. Laundry is available for a small fee, but you can also hand wash items in the sink and use the drying rack provided for each room. Most importantly, Valery and the neighbors are among THE friendliest and most helpful people in the world. You will not be able to experience this same St. Lucian hospitality and to embed yourself in the village life at a resort, and that has been the best part of my stay in Soufriere!

We had a wonderful stay at the Suite Spot Apartment. First: the location is perfect, right by the local beach, easy walking distance to everything in town, absolutely epic views of the Petit Piton and surrounding mountains from the terrasse.. We were really impressed with all the amenities Arletta provided: from shampoo to body wash, extras like sewing kit, body lotion, razor, and other toiletries that some might forget to bring. Plenty of good coffee, teas, spices, cooking oil.. some little snacks.. Even some local beer and bottled water awaited us in the fridge. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in providing a wonderful experience for her guests. We were there for Christmas and she treated us to some wonderful local treats of Sorrel hibiscus drink and a Christmas cake that she baked the night before! We felt really spoiled and loved the extra local touch. The shower had amazing pressure and the AC in the bedroom kept us cool and comfortable. The wifi worked beautifully and we enjoyed watching a movie on netflix one night to just relax. We also enjoyed that there is a living room area so you are not always just in the bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and we enjoyed making our own meals for breakfast and most dinners, and going out to restaurants for special nights out. Arletta had arranged a local taxi driver, Joseph, to pick us up from the airport. He was punctual and didn't complain about waiting for us to get through customs. He took the time to point out local landmarks along the way and also took us to the grocery store so we could buy provisions for the upcoming days of holiday closures. Joseph wrote to us every morning to ask how we were and was always available to take us to restaurants and later to Castries for our ferry to Martinique. Her garden is beautiful too and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds each morning. If you have the chance to stay here, you must!

Nice, comfortable apartment with all necessities. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Convenient location to walk to the supermarket, several waterfalls, and the beach in town. We have greatly enjoyed the stay and would love to come back!

La vue sur le Piton, splendide, comme la terrasse. L'équipement de la cuisine est absolument remarquable : de bons couteaux, économe, thés, tisanes et café, coupes à vin en verre, etc. Il ne manque vraiment rien. Un beau cahier d'informations locales sur la table, bien monté. La finition intérieure et la propreté des lieux sont impeccables. Des bouchons pour les oreilles sont même fournis (coqs et chiens à proximité comme presque partout sur l'île), et même une lampe de poche ! Bravo pour les détails !
