This was such a treat! I would give 11 out of 10 if I could. When we arrived to Mahibadhoo, we were greeted by entire Mohamed´s family, it was quite touching, kids gave us flowers and we felt very welcomed. The house is very well maintained, rooms are comfortable and nice. But the main jewel were the people that were taking care of us! They made our vacation very special and to be remembered. Our guide, Ayya, took us around island and provided us with understanding of life on the island. His sister prepared for us traditional food to taste. He also took us snorkeling around the island. We purchased an adventure trip to go swimming with shark, what a special event. Kids loved it! And the true pleasure was the food: we have 3 people preparing the food and it was the most delicious ever. Nicely decorated with great servis and always a big smile. When we were leaving, the guys took us to the port and waved us off. What a great experience. If you can, take the time to visit this place, it has a quality of resort with family environment and very personal touch. I can highly recommend for families, beach is nearby and the entire island is very peaceful and friendly.

The warm atmosphere and the kindness of the staff and locals on the island of Mahibadhoo. It's a guest house on a local island, so it's not a luxury 5* resort. But you get the local vibes and for the price, it's 200% worth it. The location of the hotel, on the beach, is like nowhere else. There are plenty of exotic fish right in front of the hotel. You will have the calm and serenity that you will not find on any other island. Mahibadhoo is the perfect base to stay in the Maldives, so you can also visit the islands around, such as Dhigurah or Omadhoo. The diving experience was a major highlight for me. The instructor is very experienced and professional.

Having stayed in tens of hotels in Europe and multiple in Maldives, this was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. The staff were very kind and helpful, food was great and the rooms were clean. The hotel had great common areas. Snorkels were available without charge and the trips were well organized. We even did 2 trips for free. The hotel had designated sunbeds on the beach, which were free to use for hotel customers.

Turtle Maldives is not just a guesthouse or hotel, it’s a family that will never let you down. Warm welcome, even warmer farewell.. we gonna miss these people so much! They made our stay fabulous, we went fishing, snorkeling, diving with mantas and one big whale shark. What an awesome once-in-a-lifetime experience it was, totally worth it. The Turtle’s people were very friendly, caring and supportive, they radiated positive vibes and made our stay special. needless to say that decorations and arrangements for my spouse birthday on the shore were top-notch and beyond any expectation. the guys made it unforgettable! thank you!

We spend 10 days at Hita and enjoyed every second of our stay. The Island is beautiful and gives you plenty of time to relax and snorkel with fishes, sharks,... Our host was always there for us and took very good care of all our wishes from romantic dinners at the beach under the stars to a private boat tour to see wale sharks. The island is not a typical tourist island so you can dive into the culture of the very kind native people. The food was great because we had every day the choice of traditional Maldivian dishes. We can 100% recommend Hita!

Bij aankomst met de boot werden we opgehaald om naar het hotel te gaan. Daar aangekomen stond er een welkomstsapje klaar. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel, evenals het grote, gedeelde balkon. Hier was het 's avonds heerlijk vertoeven. We werden soms wel wat geplaagd door muggen, maar ook daarvoor kon je wat vragen aan het personeel. 's Morgens was er een ontbijtbuffet wat lokale specialiteiten had. Het was niet groots, maar wij hebben er van genoten. 's Avonds kon je deelnemen aan het dinerbuffet. Ook dit was voortreffelijk geregeld. Er was altijd verse vis van de bbq of grill en ook altijd iets van pasta, en uiteraard lokale gerechten. Er was ook de mogelijkheid om van het menu te bestellen. Alle gerechten werden vers gemaakt, net zoals de vruchtensappen die je kon bestellen. Het strand is met 5 minuten lopen te bereiken; hier staan strandstoelen welke je kunt gebruiken. Vergeet vooral je snorkelset niet, want het is hier prachtig om te snorkelen. Wij hebben een onwijs goede tijd gehad en hebben geen enkel minpunt over dit hotel of hun personeel. Iedereen is even vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Het is dat de Malediven veel meer te bieden heeft, maar anders zouden we hier zeker terugkomen.
