I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

The house (it has a kitchen, a big room, a bathroom, a living room and a balcony) was so big and clean. The balcony is excellent to rest or have breakfast. Two steps, the pool! Perfectly location, closer to the beach. The employees are very polite and always ready to satisfy the guests necessities. :)

Nyumbani Residence was excellent, it was very clean and peaceful, just 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. There are a number of restaurants and cafes near to suit all needs. The owners Paula and Daniel were extremely helpful and was able to give us good tips and advice. The receptionist Grace was always bright and bubbly, as were all the staff. We would highly recommend Nyumbani Residence and will certainly be coming back.

My partner and I spent almost 3 weeks in Zanzibar in January 2022. We have stayed at 4 different areas of the island, in 5 different hotels, Jambiani Villa being the second one, for 4 nights. Jambiani itself is a quiet fishing village with only a few hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Right after we booked this accommodation we knew we made the right choice just by the way the hotel communicated with us. Prior our arrival we received the most detailed information about the Villas and the village, and received valuable tips and hits for traveling to Zanzibar in general. The Jambiani Villas are located in 3 properties. We stayed in the main building, called Katikati, in one of the apartments (Iliki) on the top floor, facing the outdoor pool and the ocean. Even though it was right above the restaurant, neither the smell, nor the noise (if there was any) could be felt or heard in our room. Our apartment had a very spacious and clean room with comfortable king size bed, air-conditioning, desk, sofa, TV, etc., spacious and really nice bath, a full kitchen with fridge and a large balcony. Finding European plugs in the room were a nice surprise. :) Wifi always worked perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast is wonderful. I loved the fresh guacamole and the home made jam! At the beginning I was a little worried that having a restaurant onsite is going to be busy and noise, but not at all. It was actually very quiet, and it came handy that we could have lunch and/or dinner on site whenever we wanted to. The outdoor area is small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The extremely kind, warm and helpful staff, along with the amazing efficient and professional management team made our stay really memorable. This is a true tropical paradise in a relaxing part of Jambiani. Very appropriate also for the families with small children. Everyone in Kobe team goes out and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff is amazing and super friendly. They even prepared a lovely surprise for my birthday. The food is also good, pools refreshing and the beach is just a few steps away. The rooms are newly renovated and well equiped. We loved the outside resting area under the big trees that provide enough shade throughout the whole day. Along the beach you can find also other restaurants that serve good food, but all in all this part is not very crowded (like Paje for example). We really enjoyed walking along the beach in the afternoon, when the sun is less strong. The tide difference here is enormous, but this is actually what makes it so special and unique.

The location and view of the ocean from our balcony plus also being able to watch and listen to village life. The room was very spacious, clean and good value. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with fresh juice, fruits, bread, eggs and coffee. There are a few good restaurants very close by as well such as Peter pan and Yellow Card and a couple of convenience stores for water and snacks.

Everything was just perfect! Rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, all have balcony or terrace. Staff is also fantastic and Stefania… no words! She and her mamma are very helpful, very kind, just lovely! I felt like at home and whenever I travel to Zanzibar I will visit Bahari Pizza for sure! Grazie mille per tutto!

We had the big apartment with three bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped, apartments were very clean, house cleaning took care every day. The balcony (I should say terrace as it is huge) and the rooms were furnished very nicely and there were mosquito nets for every bed. (However, when we were there in January there were only very few mosquitos). Furthermore, there were air cons and ceiling fans working well. Lots of different lights as well. Liked the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable, All rooms had big window fronts as well as light blocking curtains. Also the terrace had white curtains, which is nice if you want to have privacy while using the terrace. It is a small complex with 8 - 10 apartments, so it is never too busy. This is also the case if you want to book one of the two beautiful pools for you and your company for an hour or two. Was very relaxing.

I will be totally transparent about my review. If you’re looking for a luxury property with all kinds of amenities and facilities, this is not your place. However, these 4 days in Stonefish have been unique in terms of the local perspective I got. The hard-working entrepreneur lifestyle the owner Said has is insane, from early morning ‘til late night, non-stop. Location is great for Jambiani beach, price is unbeatable, breakfast is tasty and he’s really helpful. All the best, man!
