The couple who ran the hotel were so friendly.. speak very soft and accommodating. The room and bathroom were very clean, all brand new and modern. Spacious rooms. Fyi, pictures took when we checked out. When we insisted on giving tips, the lady gave us water for our bus trip to ninh bhin. The location is good. 12 min walk from our daily cruise trip and 3 min walk to bus meeting point. Another plus: they have brand new lift. So I don't need to carry my backpack all the way to 4th floor. Neighborhood is quite (tend to be too quite) so we had a very good rest

Dvoudenní pobyt na lodi M'Gloria byl velký zážitek! personál byl velmi vstřícný (moc moc děkujeme waitress Tracy za skvělý servis :)). Čistota pokoje byla absolutně v pořádku. Dodnes vzpomínám na posezení na balkónu, platbu po Ha Long Bay a užívání si krásy okolí. Veškeré jídlo bylo fakt top, nejlepší byla čerstvá ryba v úvodním obědu první den plavby. Jediná nevýhoda je extrémně předražené pití, proto doporučuji vlastní pití. Jinak bylo vše v pořádku a dvoudenní plavbu jsme si moc užili.

First thing first, Elite of the sea is hands down the most luxurious cruise available in Halong Bay. Even before the cruise started, we were a little bit taken aback on how good and frequent the communication was. We were late for our cruise, David called us while we were on the way from the airport to inform us that he will stay at the harbour to wait for us and organised a boat to get to the cruise. From the get go, we realised how personalised the service was. We had our own 'butler', Jay who was fantastic, ready to attend to your need when needed. The room itself was 5 star with nice balcony witnessing the scenic Halong Bay (we were a bit unlucky as the weather wasn't the best when we were there). I thought the 7 course meal was great as well, especially with the service from Jay. What struck me the most is the ratio of staffs to guests which was very high! They really make you feel welcome and special. I love the attention to details. David (manager)was always around to chat and explain our itinerary. Nar was very friendly whom we had a very entertaining conversation with. He spared no effort to make our stay enjoyable. There so many things to enjoy about this trip, which I won't be able to include in this short review. The only thing to be mindful about is the WiFi will be erratic as you will be on a cruise away from the mainland. All on all, it is definitely a 10 stars experience, fully recommended without any reservation. It is honestly by far the best service we had so far and that is coming from a couple who travel a lot and mainly stay in high ends hotels. Before this trip, we thought the best service we had was from a certain 5 stars hotel in Thailand. Well, Elite of the sea team ( especially David, Jay and Nar) convinced us otherwise! Really lovely homestay with a traditionally decorated room and a comfortable bed. Great view over the bay from our balcony and even better from the rooftop. Family that own it is super nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this homestay.
