Just opposite the Apollo Bay Beach, Waterfront Motor Inn offers a variety of accommodation in a lovely garden setting. Guests enjoy free WiFi and some rooms offer ocean views. Quick and friendly check-in and a nice clean room with balcony and view to the ocean - we loved that. It was a bit too cold to sit outside, but with the bug screen we were able to enjoy some fresh ocean air inside the room. The room is big, nice bathroom and a fridge to store wine or beer. Beds were comfy and we slept quite well. The location is nice - walking distance to the restaurants - we of course opted for the southern-most pub on Australia's main-land (at least that's what they claim).

Torquay Homestay Guesthouse in Torquay provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.8 km from Fisherman's beach. I booked the place with urgency so I didnt have high expectation but it turned out that it was one of the best experiences that I've had in my many years of travelling. Stuart's place was spotless clean, very well decorated, and calm. The room has everything we needed. Very nice bed, heater etc. Kitchen and bathroom are very clean and well equipped as well. But what makes it so special was Stuart's hospitality, and we really enjoyed talking to him and his partner.

Situated within 1.1 km of Apollo Bay and 1.7 km of Mounts Bay in Apollo Bay, Skippers Apollo Bay features accommodation with seating area. One of the best place during our trip. The breakfast is very good and the espresso coffee machine is a must.

Set in Port Fairy, Pelican Waters Holiday Park provides accommodation with free WiFi, a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. Free private parking is available on site. We were upgraded fromy original Train Carriage booking to a mobility friendly cabin. The park is right beside the Moyne river and the environment is very quiet. Port Fairy is a great little town, and I would most certainly stay at the Pelican Waters again in future. The hosts were most accomodating for us.

Castaways Apollo Bay is located in Skenes Creek, 31 km from Lorne and 5 km from Apollo Bay. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful location on a hill looking over the ocean. Excellent view of sunrises and awesome night views of the Milky Way. Accommodations were great and had all of the amenities we needed. The hammock and swing chairs are a great touch to a relaxing time on the porch. The host owner really takes care of you and although they live on the property, you receive all the privacy you need. The owner provides a nice welcome basket which was really appreciated.

Situated in tranquil garden surrounds in Port Fairy, Cherry Plum Cottages offers free off-street parking. Each room has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. There are lots of kitchen things so that you can cook on your own. The house is so lovely and there are so many DVD, CD, and books that you can spend all day there.
