Mi Cabaña El Maderal ligger i Capurganá i Choco-regionen og har have. Det ligger 400 m fra Capurganá Strand og har elevator. Der er familieværelser og solterrasse. The family that run the Cabana are the best. Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x

Pelican House Hostel ligger ved stranden i El Valle og tilbyder bæredygtig indkvartering med malerisk havudsigt. Such a great hostel. Daniela was so kind and welcoming, she really made an already excellent hostel all the better. Location couldn't be better, right on the beach & town is only a short walk away. Coffee is available at all times and the kitchen is big and fully equipped. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. The cutest, friendliest pets. Couldn't recommend this place more.

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) tilbyder kæledyrsvenlig indkvartering ved stranden i El Valle - Bahia Solano. The Location! Without doubt the best Location/view in El Valle. Monica is an amazing Host who makes sure that everything about your trip and local tours runs smooth. Every day rooms were cleaned/fresh sheets or towels if needed. A place to Calm down, enjoying the Sounds of the sea. Restaurants are close by. Tours can be organized through Monica.

Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge ligger ud til havet i Nuquí og har have. Campingpladsen har familieværelser. Ferieboligerne på campingpladsen har opholdsområde. Wow, what an amazing place! Both the lodge and the area itself. It was way better and way less complicated and "rough" than I thought so I'll leave a detailed review. I flew to Nuqui from Medellin EOH in 30 min with Clic air/ex-EasyFly (which I recommend, they have new ATRs, bigger planes than others flying here which is helpful if you get turbulence along the way). Flights were on time both ways. After you pay the Nuqui entrance tax, you turn slightly left and then right and walk 2-300 meters to the tourist port/muelle turístico. Claro and Tigo have coverage here but if you have another Colombian SIM you are covered too due to Roaming Automático Nacional (I got H+ speeds with my SIM from WOM, not sure if having a SIM from Claro gets you 4G or the same; speed was enough for browsing and posting pics, don't think it works for video call). Previously you would have messaged the host (on wapp) who sends a boat/lancha to pick you up. 2-3$ and 10 min later (this trips itself is nice) you are at the lodge. The tent I had was right by the beach and the area had hammocks and a comunal, new and clean, bathroom/shower area. Shower water is not hot but not cold either, it feels fresh. You can buy food, drinks, water, coconut etc from the host, very affordable. This stretch of beach can be reached only by boat and the accommodation is the only one in the area so you'll have kms of beach by yourself (+ crabs/cangrejos haha). It's very easy to travel to Nuqui, the lancha that got you here can be called for you by the host (Niqui has more places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy etc so no need to overplan things like I did haha; host can help you to even get food delivery from Nuqui!). The whale watching tour that the host booked for me was very nice too and not only it includes whale (and dolphins!) watching but it also goes to a nice, more populated beach area and to Termales.

Reciclarte Galería Hostal ligger i Capurganá, 100 m fra Capurganá-stranden, og har have, bar og udsigt til haven. Landstedet har familieværelser. The owner was very helpful and always willing to help. Also, its not to far from the town center so you can walk to and from. Also, the outdoor/indoor showers were surprisingly refreshing and definitely a highlight of the hostel! Also, wifi is surprisingly good considering how remote the town is.

HOSPEDAJE DOÑA NEL er et nyrenoveret pensionat i El Valle. Denne ejendom ligger ved stranden og har privat strandområde, have, terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Personalet på stedet kan arrangere transport. Everything was great and the price-quality ratio is simply outstanding. The room was very clean and cozy (more than it appeared from the pictures), the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Of course the locations right on the beach is lovely and strongly increases your chances or seeing whales and turtles! It is true that the tide makes the hotel inaccessible at some hours, but as far as we understood this is the same for all hotels located on the beach. Moreover, the owners helped us to know at what time we needed to leave every time we went on an excursion or when we left. So finally it was not too problematic thanks to them.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO ligger i Capurganá, blot 500 m fra Capurganá Strand, og tilbyder indkvartering med adgang til have, fælles opholdsstue og udflugtsskranke. The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Hostal Portal Del Sol ligger i Capurganá, mindre end 1 km fra Capurganá-stranden, og har have, terrasse og udsigt til haven. Overnatningsstedet har sikkerhedsvagt hele dagen og et picnicområde. Portal del Sol is a hidden jewel! It is run by the most adorable couple, Carlos and Maricela, who were very helpful, attentive to the needs of their guests, and kind. Portal del Sol is tucked away in a lush garden setting and is located adjacent to the Sapzurro trailhead. It is quiet and peaceful, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Capurgana and to the beach. When I first arrived, Carlos gave me a tour of Capurgana, pointing out places to eat, swim, shop and how to find my way back to Portal del Sol. Hint! Look for the blue wall. My room was clean and simple with everything a person needs to be comfortable - bed, fan, shower and toilet. Now let’s talk about the breakfasts. THE BREAKFASTS!!! They were incredible, with something different and unique every day, including fresh juice from one of Carlos and Maricela’s many fruit trees. Breakfast often included a traditional Colombian dish, too. So good and filling, you won’t need to eat again until dinnertime. And you get to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely garden - the perfect way to start your day! Portal del Sol is a small establishment, with just 3 (or maybe 4 ) cabins. Everything was well-cared for, tidy and super safe. I stayed at Portal del Sol six nights and could have easily stayed much longer because it was so comfortable and because of the hospitality of Carlos and Maricela.
