Such a great hostel. Daniela was so kind and welcoming, she really made an already excellent hostel all the better. Location couldn't be better, right on the beach & town is only a short walk away. Coffee is available at all times and the kitchen is big and fully equipped. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. The cutest, friendliest pets. Couldn't recommend this place more.

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) offers pet-friendly, beachfront accommodations in El Valle - Bahia Solano. Beautiful property run by very lovely staff. Very clean and spacious in a perfect location. Breakfast was amazing.

Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge provides beachfront accommodations in Nuquí. Guests can enjoy sea views. Some units also have a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and kitchenware. Wow, what an amazing place! Both the lodge and the area itself. It was way better and way less complicated and "rough" than I thought so I'll leave a detailed review. I flew to Nuqui from Medellin EOH in 30 min with Clic air/ex-EasyFly (which I recommend, they have new ATRs, bigger planes than others flying here which is helpful if you get turbulence along the way). Flights were on time both ways. After you pay the Nuqui entrance tax, you turn slightly left and then right and walk 2-300 meters to the tourist port/muelle turístico. Claro and Tigo have coverage here but if you have another Colombian SIM you are covered too due to Roaming Automático Nacional (I got H+ speeds with my SIM from WOM, not sure if having a SIM from Claro gets you 4G or the same; speed was enough for browsing and posting pics, don't think it works for video call). Previously you would have messaged the host (on wapp) who sends a boat/lancha to pick you up. 2-3$ and 10 min later (this trips itself is nice) you are at the lodge. The tent I had was right by the beach and the area had hammocks and a comunal, new and clean, bathroom/shower area. Shower water is not hot but not cold either, it feels fresh. You can buy food, drinks, water, coconut etc from the host, very affordable. This stretch of beach can be reached only by boat and the accommodation is the only one in the area so you'll have kms of beach by yourself (+ crabs/cangrejos haha). It's very easy to travel to Nuqui, the lancha that got you here can be called for you by the host (Niqui has more places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy etc so no need to overplan things like I did haha; host can help you to even get food delivery from Nuqui!). The whale watching tour that the host booked for me was very nice too and not only it includes whale (and dolphins!) watching but it also goes to a nice, more populated beach area and to Termales.

HOSPEDAJE DOÑA NEL is a recently renovated guest house in El Valle where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. Everything was great and the price-quality ratio is simply outstanding. The room was very clean and cozy (more than it appeared from the pictures), the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Of course the locations right on the beach is lovely and strongly increases your chances or seeing whales and turtles! It is true that the tide makes the hotel inaccessible at some hours, but as far as we understood this is the same for all hotels located on the beach. Moreover, the owners helped us to know at what time we needed to leave every time we went on an excursion or when we left. So finally it was not too problematic thanks to them.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO in Capurganá provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Offering garden views, Hostal Portal Del Sol in Capurganá offers accommodations, a garden, and a terrace. This guest house is a 10-minute walk from Capurganá Beach. Portal del Sol is a hidden jewel! It is run by the most adorable couple, Carlos and Maricela, who were very helpful, attentive to the needs of their guests, and kind. Portal del Sol is tucked away in a lush garden setting and is located adjacent to the Sapzurro trailhead. It is quiet and peaceful, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Capurgana and to the beach. When I first arrived, Carlos gave me a tour of Capurgana, pointing out places to eat, swim, shop and how to find my way back to Portal del Sol. Hint! Look for the blue wall. My room was clean and simple with everything a person needs to be comfortable - bed, fan, shower and toilet. Now let’s talk about the breakfasts. THE BREAKFASTS!!! They were incredible, with something different and unique every day, including fresh juice from one of Carlos and Maricela’s many fruit trees. Breakfast often included a traditional Colombian dish, too. So good and filling, you won’t need to eat again until dinnertime. And you get to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely garden - the perfect way to start your day! Portal del Sol is a small establishment, with just 3 (or maybe 4 ) cabins. Everything was well-cared for, tidy and super safe. I stayed at Portal del Sol six nights and could have easily stayed much longer because it was so comfortable and because of the hospitality of Carlos and Maricela.

Casa de Vacaciones ECOWASI VERAS offers accommodations in Capurganá, a 7-minute walk from Capurganá Beach. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The location is good - on the outskirts of Capurgana (it can get noisy at night closer to the center), close to jungle. The kitchen is a bit basic but ok. The terrace with hammocks is nice.
