Located in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal Island region, Casa de Alexita is situated 1.2 km from Playa de los Marinos. It is set less than 1 km from Mann and offers a shared kitchen. I stayed at Casa Alexita as a solo traveler and I loved it. The room was very comfortable, affordable snorkling rental and Alexita even helped me with extra towels and laundry. Was a lot of fun playing with their daughter and I got many tips and help for excursions.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Suites Hermosas cercanas a todo offers accommodation with balcony, around 1.2 km from Los Alemanes Beach. The apartment is at the far end of the strip to the wharf (2 mins walk and you are on the main strip then 10 mins walk to the wharf). It was spacious with a big comfortable bed with side tables. There are 2 sofas to sit or sleep on. The much needed air con was working very well. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils you need to cook, minus a kettle but you can use the pot to boil water. Refillable filtered water is provided. There is also a big refrigerator with freezer which was great to store cold drinks including salt and sugar (due to ants I presumed). Yes, there were tiny ants walking around but not really a bother.. We loved the little balcony with a sink to do some laundry of especially our swimsuits, etc. The only thing lacking is a drying rack. However, there is a small shelf with a bar to hang clothes. Walter was especially nice and helpful. He helped us book a tour/transfer from the airport for $90, all inclusive of airport pickup/hotel drop off and a tour to 3 places of interest (Los Gemelos, Lava tunnels and El Chato ranch - $7.50 entrance per person which includes boots and a guide). Although the driver spoke very little English, it was enough for us as we did not need someone to do a lot of explanation with everything we see. We enjoyed the tour very much. On the last day, as we need to get to the port at 6am to catch the ferry, Walter has kindly called to book a taxi for us with a surcharge which we paid to the taxi driver. Set 1.8 km from La Estacion Beach, El Arco de Darwin offers accommodation with a balcony. It is situated 1.9 km from Los Alemanes Beach and offers a shared kitchen. Very comfy beds, air conditioning was almost too cold! Which was a real treat after travelling through Central America/places with no A/C. Checking in and out was very easy. Everything provided, towels, shampoo etc. Kitchen also upstairs- not as complete as a hostel kitchen but has everything you need (also instead of cooking yourself, much better to go get the empanadas from down the road anyway!), wifi was great too. Staff were fabulous too, our Español is not great, and it was no problem!

Located in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, 800 metres from Oro Beach, La Casa de Amelia provides accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and free shuttle service. The couple who runs this airbnb are really friendly and helpfull. Nice big place with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Anita even left us a welcome wine - so nice.

Boasting a garden, Black Pearl is situated in Puerto Villamil in the Isabela Island region, 700 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach. We had a wonderful stay! From a warm welcome with lots of tipps for trips, tours, restaurants etc. by the host-family to large beautiful rooms, everything was perfect. Would for sure stay here again!

Situated in Puerto Villamil, 500 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach, Hostal Punta Arena offers air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. This guest house provides a shared lounge. Great hostel, clean room, nice kitchen!

The Finch House is a detached holiday home located in Puerto Ayora in the Santa Cruz Island, Galápagos and is 4 km from Tortuga Bay. The holiday home is 20 km from El Garrapatero Beach. The hospitality of the hosts was great. Always trying to help us and fulfilling our requests.

We loved our stay, the host was so nice to us. Free breakfast and he gave us snacks and juice heading off early to the ferry one morning! Great stay!

Free private parking is available on site. absolutely loved the place. the owners do everything so that guests feel comfortable. I loved that there was a kettle and a microwave in the room. and chairs and tables outside. great place.

Boasting a garden, Hostal Cattleya is located in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in the San Cristobal Island region, 1.1 km from Oro Beach and 1.6 km from Mann. The BEST hostel. Air conditioning, hot showers, big rooms with storage space, comfy beds, clean with daily housekeeping, filtered drinking water, free breakfast every morning on a beautiful terrace, walkable to the main part of town but far enough removed for quiet, laundry available, quick communication. But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. If you stay at Hostal Cattleya, you support a true local family. We love you Trudy and Ivan!
