It's a relatively small house in which the guests live together with the host and the staff. It's a family atmosphere between the host, the staff and the guests. We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.

Private Resort Hotel RENN ligger bara 2,6 km från Shigira strand, och erbjuder boende i Miyako-jima med en trädgård, en terrass samt conciergeservice. Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

Located in Miyako Island, 3.9 km from Yonaha Maehama Beach, Hotel Hibisicus provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Sony and his wife were very gracious hosts and have done a great job at cultivating a true sense of community among guests and staff. The snorkeling trip was a lot of fun as were the dinners and drinks in the evening.

きくのこ3缶ヴィラ＆テラス ligger 12 minuters promenad från Painagama Beach erbjuder en terrass och luftkonditionerat boende med en balkong och gratis WiFi. Wow! Very modern and clean! We were very comfortable in that house, wish we stayed longer. For extra fee we had pick up and drop off at the airport. And also for extra fee a rental car. This is needed on the island and car was very modern. A car makes everything more accesible, like going to beaches, supermarket and even a night snack. House had lots of equipment and was fully packed: washer, dryer and the detergent. Netflix. Water dispenser. Coffee. Close to supermarket so we cooked at home. Were nice garden and terras. Big bath and bedrooms. Will recommend it to al my friend and family! And definetly will stay again. Also good communication with the staff. We do not speak Japanese and we communicated good enough! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Crystal Villa Bayside ligger i Miyako-jima, 2,8 km från Waiwai strand och 6,1 km från Kurima Bridge, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, en trädgård med en terrass, havsutsikt och tillgång till en... The counter staff was nice and it was easy to locate the front-desk (right at the entrance to the property). The villa was spacious (with 2 separate bedrooms and another bed in the living area), and it was very well-equipped with washing machine, dryer, cooking appliances, entertainment devices (TV, bluetooth speaker). The place was fairly clean and we were provided with some cleaning equipment and insect repellant. There is a dedicated parking spot in front of each villa, so there is no worry about having no space for your vehicle. Each villa has its own signboard that can be lit up, so locating it at night is also a breeze.
