I was searching for somewhere special to spend my birthday and something told me it would be here. I wasn’t even looking at places in Koh Lanta specifically, but that’s where Walden is so that’s where we went. And it truly was just as amazing as I’d dreamed it would be. Walden is a place built and looked after with thought and care, both for its beautiful natural surroundings by the sea and for the people who stay there. Thank you Paul for creating a place that is so true to the philosophy that it’s based on. All in all: clean tiny homes equipped with everything you need; the best host; amazing beach, sea and lounging areas; great locality with massages, bars and restaurants nearby; killer sunset; heaven for animal lovers.

Really nice bungalows in Ao Nang - about a 10 minute walk from the city beaches and less than that from the "downtown". Good location in my opinion - you're close enough to everything but not in the loud and busy area exactly. I was not impressed with Ao Nang, though - it is CROWDED with loud English-yelling tourists and reminds me of some of the worst areas of Phuket, such as Patong. However, Pagi Pagi is a good option to stay here if you are planning to go on day trips and visit some beaches outside of the city center - for that purpose, I would stay here again. Bungalow was spacious, well air-conditioned, WiFi worked well, staff was helpful, so everything fulfilled my expectations.

Ubytovanie Simple House Ao Nang - B&B sa nachádza v destinácii Krabi town 1,9 km od miesta Pláž Ao Nang Beach a 2,3 km od miesta Pláž Pai Plong Beach. Very comfortable and big rooms, with all the amenities you need. Beautiful garden and nice breakfast. The owner and the staff were super helpful and welcoming. It was also very easy to book trips and find activities to do through them. Hotel is close to the main street with restaurants and it's a great value for money.

I looked for a place to stay by myself for a few days. It was so comfortable that I extended my stay! The hosts are so nice and helpful, were super patients to my questions and helped me book a tour and a transfer in great prices. The room is simple but have all you need. Nice if you want to get away from the touristy places and to see the local life, but still to be close enough to the beach.

All staff were amazing. Bed and bathrooms were great! There are some nice restaurants within walking distance.

It felt private and quiet. The beds were comfortable (hard to find in a Thai hotel). Everything was clean and spacious, and the people were very friendly and helpful.
