Situated in Cat Ba, Lan Ha Floating Homestay offers beachfront accommodation 1.4 km from Monkey Island Beach and provides various facilities, such as a private beach area, a garden and a bar. Exotic, unique, mind blowing. We stayed only one night, but would recommend two. The staff staying on board speaks very little English, but are super friendly and cooks very good food.

Located within less than 1 km of Tuan Chau Beach and a 12-minute walk of Bikini Island Beach, Minh Hưng Motel provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ha Long. The couple who ran the hotel were so friendly.. speak very soft and accommodating. The room and bathroom were very clean, all brand new and modern. Spacious rooms. Fyi, pictures took when we checked out. When we insisted on giving tips, the lady gave us water for our bus trip to ninh bhin. The location is good. 12 min walk from our daily cruise trip and 3 min walk to bus meeting point. Another plus: they have brand new lift. So I don't need to carry my backpack all the way to 4th floor. Neighborhood is quite (tend to be too quite) so we had a very good rest

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, CornerCatBa is situated in Cat Ba. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 1.3 km from Tung Thu Beach. We had the best time in CornerCatBa. The host family couldn’t be any kinder. Thanh helped us to book Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay tour, transfers from/to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, did the laundry for us, recommended restaurants and cafes and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

Offering a garden and sea view, Hạ Long Lily Homestay is situated in Ha Long, 1.7 km from Quang Ninh Museum and 3.2 km from Vincom Plaza Ha Long. Really lovely homestay with a traditionally decorated room and a comfortable bed. Great view over the bay from our balcony and even better from the rooftop. Family that own it is super nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend this homestay.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Cat Ba Central Homestay is a recently renovated homestay set in Cat Ba, 1.4 km from Tung Thu Beach. With city views, this accommodation provides a patio. I can't recommend this place enough. The rooms are pretty affordable for how spacious and clean they were. The owners are very sweet and genuine. He helped me a lot to organise my trip and was very attentive to my needs. Very good experience!
