Located 500 metres from Abraao Beach, Canoa Abraão offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

Featuring a bar and views of sea, La Coquille is a recently renovated guest house located in Praia de Araçatiba, a few steps from Aracatiba. Chico welcome us in a very nice way. Explained to us about the property and everything around. Once staff also. Had a great time.

Couldn’t believe how clean it was considering the Pousada is right on the beach. Lovely breakfast that you can place your order for the night before and they will either bring it to you room or set it up on the beach for you. Gabriel and his family were all so lovely and helpful, there was a bit of a language barrier but they organised a brilliant boat trip around the island which I’d highly recommend doing

We stayed in a double room. Quiet location. Kitchen available in the camping area. nice clean room with mozzie screen on the window and a fan. Marina at reception was really friendly and helpful. room cleaning every second day. great internet. Tours available.

Offering garden views, O Sitio - Ilha Grande in Abraão offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a garden, a private beach area and water sports facilities. As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Featuring a patio with garden views, a garden and a bar, Fauna can be found in Praia do Bananal, close to Bananal Beach and 1.4 km from Matariz Beach. Everything. Fauna is such a fantastic little gem and the owner Natalia is so sweet and lovely.

Offering garden views, Saracura is an accommodation set in Praia de Araçatiba, 300 metres from Araçatibinha Beach and 500 metres from Aracatiba. The location is perfect! We loved waking up every morning in paradise. We went swimming with the turtles every day and ate in some very nice restaurants near by. Highly recommend!
