Gorgeous guest house with incredible staff, comfortable beds, VERY clean rooms, great showers, good snacks and drinks 24/7. No detail was spared. I traveled with my mom, who is very particular, and she was RAVING about how wonderful this guest house was throughout the rest of our trip.

Located just 1.2 km from Sultan's Palace, Griya Asih provides accommodation in Yogyakarta with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. I would highly recommend the Griya Asih, it is an beautiful traditional House with 6 rooms. The staff were always very helpful and kind and we ended up, due to illness, relying on their help a bit. It's a small team of staff and they were just great. The breakfast was very very good, and resulted in us not needing lunch, it consisted of local food that was very well cooked and presented, and there was European choices as well. The rooms were clean and quite big and the on-suite bathroom was clean with an excellent shower that could deliver a real blast of water if needed. It's in a quite road about 150 meters from a main square that comes alive with families and friends at night, it's clearly a local focal point and was fun to walk around in the evening. Overall a really good 5 nights.

Snooze in Yogyakarta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 600 metres from Sultan's Palace. It’s a wonderful hostel. I was in a shared room with bunk beds but there were lots of space, nice AC, privacy curtain, little lamp and towel. Also breakfast was included. The wonderful young women at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and they were sooo nice and professional. I loved the place and I hope I can come back some day. the breakfast was delicious.

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. Big nice shout to Mr Pras and team were absolutely amazing, you guys incredible staffs. Helpful staffs, communicative and friendly. On the day we arrived the receptions was attentive and gave us the details information. The hotel itself has a beautiful spot to relax, chill with friends or just enjoyed the view sorroundings. Green plants and stunning architecture. Good location, perfect for those who really want to have a good stay in Jogjakarta city centre, about 7 minutes drive from Malioboro. Restaurants nearby, for you who wants to experience the local dishes here. My friends, the family of them and I were happy, even just for one night staycation. Breakfast was delicious and again with nice view of pool. The kids were happy too, definitely will recomend to other friends. Thank you very much, to all staffs we would like to say matur nuwun.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Blue Garden Yogyakarta is a recently renovated guest house located in Yogyakarta, 11 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Mr. Wibowo's wife cook you meals and breakfast with lots of love in it and we preferred to stay at their home for dinner instead of going to a restaurant. The room is big and have everything you need to feel at home. We really recommend this homestay to everybody!! Don't look any further!!
