We stayed in the Safari Room. It was very comfortable. Mme Christine was helpful with suggestions on how to get around town and where to eat dinner. We were happily surprised to find the tram stop nearby, which made it easy to get into the center of town and back.

Le Henri IV was a pure gem! I feel so fortunate to have stayed here. I came to Le Mans and booked on short notice and will be back! From the history to the room - and the location! It’s utterly charming and in the heart of Old Town. But the best part of the stay began with the owners. From the minute I booked, I received a personal message asking for my arrival time (I was able to check in early) with a follow-up message with specific direction to the property based on where I arrived. Upon arrival, I was given a historical tour and the owner reviewed a local map with me so I understood where I was and what was nearby. The breakfast was also lovely. I couldn’t be happier.

We were unable to stay here due to an electrical issue but were relocated to the owner's guest house. We were made very welcome and taken good care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly.
