The couple running Guest House Babaka are lovely people. They were warm and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't have any languages in common, it was nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of Google Translate. After reading reviews about the food, we did ask for dinner. Dinner was an incredible spread of food with delicious homemade wine. All the food was delicious. The terrace was a comfortable place to hang out and there were two adorable dogs who liked to come by. The location was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center, which we knew. It's uphill going to town, but totally doable if you enjoy walking. Super quiet. We slept great. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was a simple homestay rather than a hotel. To that end, it feels like you're staying in an extension of someone's home, although the space we stayed in is very much separate from the house and pretty private. It's perfect if you're going in with those expectations, which we were. :)

Spent the last few days of my trip to Georgia in Signaghi to relax and take in the views and wines, and this was the perfect base for it. Nice, clean, spacious room close to the bus stop, and everything in Sighnaghi is walking distance. Gio was the perfect host, attentive, entertaining and always ready to answer your questions, help you organize transport and give tips on what to do. Would stay again!

This listing is not given its right at all! The place is now on google maps and easy to find! The place is great. The apartment is so spacious, with so many beds and so much place! We were 5 and it coule easily accomodate us all with plenty of extra space to move. The breakfast was great. I was really surprised to get such a great place and breakfast with this price.

We had a lovely double room with terrace. The room was modern and very clean. Just as well the terrace was spacious, it compensated for the small bedroom with limited hanging space. Some sweet local ladies prepared a magnificent breakfast for us in the morning. This property is a fair way out of Sighnaghi so access is by car or taxi.

It's the house of the host Gio and he lives there. He is a super helpful, sweet guy. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm. The location is very easy to find. If you have a car, you can park right in front of the police station/bus station in the town square just 50 meters away. Very good eating joints around this place too. Gio also offers wine cellar tours (he has one in the basement) for free. Very affordable, comfy, friendly stay. Definitely recommend!

We reached there and saw the property with so much of disappointment and we left and cancelled our stay. The roads are bad and honestly it’s not scary entering the village in narrow lanes which is far from Sighnaghi.
