The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

The fire kept us very warm all night long. It was pre-made by the owner which was very convenient. We brought food for the fridge to cook which was simple and easy. We will be back for more northern lights when we plan for better weather.

amazing room decor..updated..had long mirror which my wife loved for her makeup.loved the kitchen. had a washer and dryer...the bathroom was well upgraded bathroom beautiful..comfortable lounging couch with foot chair...TV updated with Netflix and Disney etc..the bed was huge and super comfortable..has fridge and stove..only place in iceland we stayed with 2 firm and big pillows.. the best part was the location..we saw Northern lights on our last stay!!!!!!!!

Unique property, really warm and cosy. Rick the owner is very friendly and looked after us very well. The yurt had everything you would need and the bathroom outside was warm and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delivered to our door at exactly the time we asked and it was amazing, fresh eggs from the owners chickens, warm bread and much more! it was definitely one of our favourite stays in Iceland! Rick gave us very clear directions so it was very easy to find.

The homes themselves are well equip and spacious with a beautiful shower. Property has 2 friendly dogs belonging to the family roaming around, who came up to greet us and play ball. Host was very welcoming and helpful.

It rained a lot in Selfoss but it was a spacious room with a good few TV channels and a small kitchen so we made evening meal once and had breakfast each day we were there, lots of pots and pans etc there! We had a hire car so parked in front of the house! It was about 7 to 10 mins to the town centre so nice and central! Easy to access via Google maps also! One of the better value places I stayed in Iceland also!
