A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

Studio Magielsen is an exquisite place when you desire to explore Amsterdam in all its facets. It is a very well equiped and quiet place where you can relax optimally as a couple or alone. The kitchen, bed, bathroom and even a small, elegant terrace are enchanting. Everything is optimally clean and tidy and the place has all the neccessities you need for a comfortable city trip. The surroundings are inspiring, with many international restaurants at a high level and also a Albert Heijn supermarket on two minutes walking distance, that provides you with all you need for a lazy evening in peace and quiet. The heartwarming host Annelies is doing everything she possibly can to make you feel at home and respect your privacy.
