Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura features a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. Jose is a great host. He took us around Fogo to see these really amazing places. The room was very comfortable, toilets and bathrooms very clean.There was always hot water running from the bathroom taps when needed. I was really thrilled by the craftmanship in the buildings . Jose used larva to build the house, and used recycled bottles in building part of the walls of the bathroom, so much sustainability on display . Jose was also very helpful when i needed to book a last minute flight back to Praia. Thank you Jose

Located in Portela in the Fogo region, Casa helena has a balcony. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house features family rooms. The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Attention , food, accommodation, internet (taking in account the house is in a remote place). They really care about you. I've never felt so welcomed! :) Alcindo is also the best guide to Pico do Fogo you could ever have.

Pensao Zé Doce is situated in Portela and offers a garden and a bar. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We took room with bathroom and shower. Room was absolutely amazing. José was there for all our needs. He is a man with golden heart for people. He also guided us to Pico. I highly recommend

Pipi's Guest House, featuring a garden, a terrace and a bar, is located in São Filipe, 2.4 km from Sao Filipe Beach. At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with a wardrobe. This was exactly what I needed a tranquil, beautiful tropical paradise getaway just far enough from the city to enjoy a peaceful day and night but close enough to everything. The airport is right there so perfect place to get your rest during your Cabo Verde getaway. Pipi and her family are a true blessing and are the best hosts I've encountered in a long time. As a frequent traveler I cannot say enough about how great this place was. Pool was the perfect size to cool off. The food was amazing. Cocktails were delicious. The room was spacious and super clean. Comfy bed, large shower (hot water). I could go on and on but words aren't enough. Go there check it out for yourself you will not regret it.

Casa Ze & sonia is situated in Portela. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe. The best customer service! The host Lea was super helpful before we even got there. She answered all my questions very quickly and provided lots of information. They arranged the shuttle service for us as well as a guide to climb up the volcano. João himself is a guide and you can book him. Obviously the location is perfect and you have a beautiful view of the volcano right from the room. Make sure to eat at Isabella's next door, her food is delicious and she was such a warm and wonderful person. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

Situated in Igreja in the Fogo region, Gira Lua has a terrace and sea views. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. After the beautiful down hike from Portela we were very tired and we're welcomed with cold drinks. After that we had a very lovely paella and went to sleep in our comfortable room. We had a very good and quite 11 hours sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and enough. Beautiful location overseeing the coastline.

Set in São Filipe, Tortuga B&B offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.

Boasting a bar and views of sea, Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in São Filipe, a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach. The property features city and quiet street views. I was upgraded to a room with balcony facing the sea. Absolutely delightful sight. Very quiet hotel with everything you need. Of course it's very impersonal, a generic hotel room, so if you're looking for an authentic Cabo Verdian experience this is not for you, but if you're looking for a clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable place to rest, it is perfect. The cleanliness was not perfect but was pretty good ; nothing too problematic. The AC is a huge advantage!
