The host are very nice and helpful. I had a late bus from Quito and arrived late at 9, Victor came to pick me up and they still cooked me a very nice dinner. Victor also provided me with very helpful information about Quilotoa loop. The room itself is also a nice one.

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food se encuentra en Chugchilán y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The food was amazing, banana bread that they offered after a long hike for free was a very nice plus! The room was big, in two stories, the pictures did not do justice to the rooms!!! Overall, the atmosphere was really good, all the family members so kind to us and to each other. What my partner enjoyed the most was that during the meal times, they asked if we would like to have more food. :)

Hostal el Vaquero tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Chugchilán. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. Our stay here was fabulous. It is absolutely gorgeous here and while we had to walk further on our hike today to get here, we are rewarded with being right next to the start of the trail. There are many hammocks to relax in, alpacas to admire and cute dogs as well (Axle and Lucas). The hosts are incredibly kind, accommodating and patient. It was really such a pleasure to spend time with them. They also have a Turkish Bath and Sauna which were relaxing after a long day of hiking. Dinner was delicious!! There is a wood stove in the common area which is so lovely and warms the dining room during dinner. The decor is stunning and there’s music played in the dining room that provides a wonderful ambience. They have wine and beer and snacks available for purchase as well as lunch boxes. Our room had a stunning Mountain View and an amazing bathroom with really hot showers! I cannot say more great things about this hostal and our stay, I only wish we could have had a little more time in this magical and relaxing place.

Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

La Posada Del Viajero ofrece alojamiento en Latacunga. Se ofrece wifi gratis y servicio de conserjería. The owner is amazing. He asks the plan of each guest and explains all needed information patiently and with tips of how to make the trips cheaper. Also leaving the bag is free after staying. The bed was comfi, the shower hot, the wifi worked well. There is a cheap and tasty Chinese restaurant right next to the place. Perfect place for the night before/after the Quilotoa loop!
