The apartment is at the far end of the strip to the wharf (2 mins walk and you are on the main strip then 10 mins walk to the wharf). It was spacious with a big comfortable bed with side tables. There are 2 sofas to sit or sleep on. The much needed air con was working very well. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils you need to cook, minus a kettle but you can use the pot to boil water. Refillable filtered water is provided. There is also a big refrigerator with freezer which was great to store cold drinks including salt and sugar (due to ants I presumed). Yes, there were tiny ants walking around but not really a bother.. We loved the little balcony with a sink to do some laundry of especially our swimsuits, etc. The only thing lacking is a drying rack. However, there is a small shelf with a bar to hang clothes. Walter was especially nice and helpful. He helped us book a tour/transfer from the airport for $90, all inclusive of airport pickup/hotel drop off and a tour to 3 places of interest (Los Gemelos, Lava tunnels and El Chato ranch - $7.50 entrance per person which includes boots and a guide). Although the driver spoke very little English, it was enough for us as we did not need someone to do a lot of explanation with everything we see. We enjoyed the tour very much. On the last day, as we need to get to the port at 6am to catch the ferry, Walter has kindly called to book a taxi for us with a surcharge which we paid to the taxi driver. Which was a real treat after travelling through Central America/places with no A/C. Checking in and out was very easy. Everything provided, towels, shampoo etc. Kitchen also upstairs- not as complete as a hostel kitchen but has everything you need (also instead of cooking yourself, much better to go get the empanadas from down the road anyway!), wifi was great too. Staff were fabulous too, our Español is not great, and it was no problem!

The Finch House is a detached holiday home located in Puerto Ayora in the Santa Cruz Island, Galápagos and is 4 km from Tortuga Bay. The holiday home is 20 km from El Garrapatero Beach. Mercedes was an excellent host. The unit was spacious, and perfect for me and my partner and our friends that we were travelling with. The kitchen is stocked with the basic necessities for cooking, the staff keep the unit clean while you are away, and there is A/C!

Patty House Galapagos is located in Puerto Ayora, 1, 2 km from Charles Darwin Avenue and 1.5 km from the Malecon. Very friendly owners, willing to help with anything. Very clean rooms. Nice pool.

Galapagos Apartments - Bay View House is a self-catering accommodation located in Bahía de la Academia. It features a terrace and free WiFi access. San Francisco Park is 2 minutes’ walk away. הדירה מרווחת , מבריקה מוארת וכיפית, מצוידת היטב וממוזגת (מיזוג בחדר שינה בלבד אבל מספיק לקרר את כל הדירה). יש מתקן מים מסוננים לשתיה. מרגיש כמו בית. המיקןם מעולה. על הרחוב הראשי - מלא מסעדות, סופרמרקט, בנק ודקה מהנמל. יש 2 דירות להשכרה בקומה ראשונה : : דירה קטנה יותר הפונה לחזית כלומר לרחוב ולכן עשויה להיות רועשת- עם מרפסת ונוף לים, ודירה עורפית של שני חדרים נפרדים )סלון וחדר שינה ללא מרפסות וללא נוף -אך שקטה ומרווחת מאד- בה שהינו. הדירות מבריקות ומנקים אותן כל יום כולל החלפת.מגבות ומצעים. עלות מכונת.כביסה כולל ייבוש וקיפול 7 דולר. עלות השכרת מגבת חוף מתקפלת 3 דולר. קוני, בעלת הבית, גרה בקומה השניה והיא מהממת!! נותנת שירות מכל הלב , עוזרת ומייעצת בכל שאלה. תמיד זמינה בווטסאפ או פיזית עם חיוך ואנרגיות.טובות. ממש כמו אמא 😃 נהננו מכל רגע. thanks Koni😃 .

She even took my to see some places around the island and let me keep my things at her place while I was visiting other island.

Maytenus Galapagos is located in Puerto Ayora. We offer apartments for families and couples. Each apartment has free WIFI connection, private bathroom, kitchenware, air conditioning. We had a very big room with an own kitchen and bathroom. It was nice to do some cooking. When traveling for a long time it can be a drag to always have to go to restaurants. We spontaneously decided to stay 2 nights in San Cristobal but had booked all of our time on Santa Cruz. The host was so nice to give us a reduction as we were not around for two days.
