Traveling to the other site costs 35 cents with the ferry and 2-3 euros with the private motor boat. It's very fast. A private boat only takes like 5 minutes. The ferry is the same, but sometimes you have to wait up to 20 minutes. Would always choose the west bank in Luxor. Much better location and is even cheaper. Clean and friendly area, with no tourist traps, and still so near the center
