Very close to the bus stop and there was a nearby pub. The buses were down for the bank holiday, so we walked to and from Lyme Regis via a beautiful river path.

Lovely quiet location surprisingly easy to find and it felt.very secure. The room was perfect for us and our two spaniels and it was lovely to have a kitchen right next door so we could make breakfast and tea in the morning. There was bread, yogurts and jams left out for us and coffee pods in the room so we couldn't have asked for more for an overnight stay. Having easy access straight out onto the grassed area in the morning was perfect for the dogs and both owners were lovely and friendly when we met them. Definitely will return when visiting the moors or the zoo which was just down the road. Thank you too Debbie for posting hubby's jumper back. You're a super host 😁.

Located in Plymouth, The Ivy Barn Holbeton is a recently renovated accommodation, 44 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 17 km from Marsh Mills. A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Halekulani Devon Homestay is a recently renovated homestay situated in Torquay, 1.5 km from Maidencombe Beach. Our host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was excellent, tea, coffee and fresh milk were provided. Breakfast was perfect, a great start to the day!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Gresham Court features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. We loved everything from the hosts down to the bed sheets. Exceptional value for money and the 2 small bottles of complimentary wine in the fridge were fab. Breakfast was fit for a king and all freshly made. Excellent location for the town centre and local theatre. Highly recommended for a couple of days away from work and kids.
