Our apartment on their farm was a haven for our stay near Borgarnes. Views of the surrounding fields were great, and such a nice change from city hotels. The apartment had everything we needed, including a filter coffee maker. The weather turned overnight, and roads were closed the next morning. Fjola kindly informed us of this and offered that we could stay longer, which was very generous.

It's a long drive to the West Fjords, but we felt it was worth it for such a special place.

The cabin was warm and cozy, very comfortable, with a nice functioning, and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. The interior design of the cabin was very welcoming. GREAT location to see the northern lights!

We absolutely loved it here and spend 3 nights there! Unfortunately because of a sever storm the power went out on the entire peninsula twice on one of the days, but the hosts immediately informed us about it and kept us up to date. The cottage was also extremely well maintained and everything was very clean!
